FK-5-1-12 is a fluorinated ketone that is liquid at room temperature, vaporises rapidly at the nozzle and puts out fire chiefly by cooling. With zero ozone depletion and a very low global warming potential, it is a common choice for IT rooms, archives, museums and telecom facilities.
